One place for the footage

Every Grand Theft Auto VI video gets re-uploaded within minutes, usually re-encoded, often cropped, sometimes with a fake "leaked scene" bolted on the end. gta6yt.com exists so you do not have to sort that out yourself: it collects the official Rockstar Games videos in one Trailer Vault, explains what each one shows, and tells you which version you are actually watching.

We embed or link the official uploads on Rockstar's own YouTube channel rather than re-hosting them. Rockstar's upload keeps the real audio and full quality, does not carry someone else's watermark, and the views stay where they were earned.

Who publishes the site

gta6yt.com is published by Media Digital Business L.L.C.-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The pages are written and checked by a small editorial team that has followed Rockstar's trailers since the PS2 era. We are an independent fan site, not affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Netflix or YouTube.

How we follow Rockstar's channel

Our working day starts with the primary sources: Rockstar's YouTube channel, the Rockstar Newswire, the Grand Theft Auto VI pages on rockstargames.com and Take-Two's investor releases. When a new video appears, we do four things before it reaches the Vault:

  1. confirm the upload sits on Rockstar's verified channel, not a lookalike;
  2. note the publication date and time from the upload itself, not from the first article that reported it;
  3. record the runtime and Rockstar's own description, including capture notes such as "captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5" and the song credits;
  4. update every page that the video changes, from the trailer pages to the gameplay and soundtrack guides, and add a dated entry to the news section.

That is how, for example, we corrected our old claim that Rockstar had never labelled Trailer 2 footage: its description says "equal parts gameplay and cutscenes", and we had missed it.

Confirmed, rumour, leak

Each claim on the site carries a label. Confirmed means it comes from Rockstar, Take-Two or a platform holder's official store or blog, and we say which. Rumour means reported but not confirmed. Leak means material that was never meant to be public, such as the 2022 development footage. We describe leaks so readers can recognise them, but we do not embed, mirror or link leaked video and we never pay for information. Figures from analytics firms, such as co-streaming peaks, are reported as estimates with the firm's name.

How often pages change

In the run-up to the 19 November 2026 launch we check the official channels daily and update pages the same day something changes. Each page shows a "Last updated" date under its headline, so you can see how fresh it is.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix the page, update its date and, where the error mattered, say on the page what we changed. Send corrections to [email protected]; more on what to include is on the contact page.
